Safe Space
Philosophy:
Hove YMCA in partnership with the Red Cross, PCT, the Police and Communities Against Drugs run the Safe Space Project. The Project provides a space for people out in the city to access assistance if they had become injured, distressed as a result of alcohol and/or substance use.Based in St Pauls Church the Safe Space Team with Red Cross colleagues can attend to injuries, call ambulances and ensure people get home safely.
